Just like the perfect dress, your wedding invites are not one-size-fits-all. Here are the benefits of our favorite invitation formats.
The Classic
The timeless is also trendy. The classic 5×7” invite is having a bit of a moment right now because it can easily be jazzed up with foil stamping, embossing, glitter and other fun finishing touches. Because of its standard size, mailing this size of invite is simple and cost effective. Include a separate details card to allow the key features of your invite to shine.
The Classic Redux
For when 5×7” just isn’t enough space! Long, skinny invitations stand out in the mail—and on the fridge—due to their unique size, and they have enough room for extra info so you could potentially skip including a details card.
The Pocket Suite
The pocket suite invitation is made for the meticulous bride or groom who wants every detail accounted for. This format allows you to neatly package your primary invitation, your details card(s) and your RSVP card together for an extra classy invite.
The Accordion
Another way to keep all of the information about your day together? The accordion fold invite. This modern format allows you to skip details cards and still leaves you with space to spare. An accordion fold invitation is great for couples who want to show off their engagement photos. Want to include an RSVP card? Just have one of the panels perforated so guests can tear off, fill out and mail.
The Trifold
With all the benefits of the accordion, a trifold invitation is another way couples can incorporate more details and imagery into their invitation without including extra pieces in a suite. Use the middle inner panel for your most important details—your names, date, time and location—and save the least important information for the back middle panel.
If you’re ready to get to work on your invitations, our invitation suites are a great place to start. Looking for something a little outside the box? Don’t worry, we can help there too—just let us know what you’re thinking!
