Planning a wedding or baby shower? There’s a lot of details to manage, so don’t let the activities stress you out. Here are some fun and easy-to-execute game ideas to entertain your guests:
Weddings:
Couple Trivia
Create trivia about the couple and have guests fill it out individually, or, depending on the number of guests present, work as a team to answer the questions.
Newlywed Game
If a couple’s shower, play with both; otherwise, get answers from one partner and have the partner in attendance at the shower guess their answers.
Find the Guest
If there are lots of guests that don’t know each other at the shower, have everyone attending write a fun fact about themselves beforehand. Then, at the beginning of the shower, give each guest a fact that isn’t their own and task them with finding the guest who wrote it, encouraging them to mingle.
Vow Mad Libs
Create a mad libs sheet of wedding vows for each shower guest to complete. Go around and have everyone share theirs.
Honeymoon Packing Memory Game
Have the bride or groom pack a bag of must-haves for the honeymoon prior to the shower. Have her or him remove each item for the bag, one by one, so each guest can see it. Then, after re-packing the bag, guests must try to write down all the items they remember. Whoever remembers the most wins a prize!
Baby:
Baby Pic Match
Have each guest bring a photo of themselves as a baby, and have everyone try to match the photo with the guest. Whoever can get the most correct matches wins a prize!
The Price Is Right
Have guests guess exact prices on common baby items, like food, diapers and onesies. Include specific brands for an extra challenge. The guest who gets the total closest to the actual prices wins.
Bobbing for Pacifiers
To get guests up and moving, create a bobbing for apples game…using pacifiers. Either play until every guest gets one, or see who can get the most within a certain amount of time.
Baby Bottle Drinking Game
Fill up a baby bottle for each guest with any type of beverage (something boozy is recommended for those who are of-age!) and have guests compete to see who can finish theirs the fastest.
Now that you know how fun your bash is going to be, make sure your guests get an invite that reflects it. We can help with everything from the invites and RSVP cards to thank-you notes!
